How to Get Here from Vienna International Airport

The closest airport to the Imperial Riding School is Vienna International Airport. A taxi journey from the airport to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Please note that until the end of October 2027, the central section of Vienna’s main rail line between Vienna Praterstern and Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) will be closed for approximately 14 months due to modernisation works.

During this period, the following connections are available between the Imperial Riding School and Vienna Airport:

S7 line: Travel to or from St. Marx or Geiselbergstraße, with a connection to tram line 71 from these stations.
REX7: The line will be diverted via Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) towards Vienna Airport.
ÖBB long-distance trains: Vienna Airport can also be reached from Vienna Central Station using ÖBB long-distance trains. From Vienna Central Station, tram line O provides a direct connection to the Imperial Riding School.
City Airport Train (CAT): During the main closure period, replacement bus services will operate between Wien Mitte and Vienna Airport, with up to five services per hour. From Wien Mitte (Landstraße), take tram line O to Ungargasse-Neulinggasse.

Getting to Vienna City Centre

Vienna city centre is approximately a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively, you can reach the city centre in around 5 minutes by tram from the tram stop located next to the hotel.

Parking

We offer on-site parking for 200 cars at a charge of €34 per 24hours. The closest off-site parking option is APCOA which is 0.5 KM from the hotel.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

The check-in time is 3:00 pm and the check-out time is 12:00 pm.

Do you allow pets?

We welcome small pets (maximum 10kg). One pet is allowed per room. The fee for the first night is €25 plus a cleaning fee of €10. For each additional night, an extra cleaning fee of €10 will be charged.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we have free Wi-Fi available to all hotel guests.

What is the closest airport?

The closest airport is Vienna International Airport (VIE), located approximately 17.9 km from the hotel. By taxi, the journey from the airport to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Please note that the central section of Vienna’s main suburban railway line between Vienna Praterstern and Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) is expected to be closed until the end of October 2027 due to modernisation works, for a period of approximately 14 months. During this period, the following changes will apply: Wien Mitte/Landstraße station will be closed. The S7 service will be shortened and operate to/from St. Marx. REX7 trains will be rerouted via Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) in the direction of the airport. From Vienna Central Station, Vienna Airport can also be reached using ÖBB long-distance trains. During the main closure period, the City Airport Train (CAT) will provide a replacement bus service between Wien Mitte and Vienna Airport, with buses operating up to five times per hour. Subject to official approval, ÖBB Postbus plans to expand its Vienna Airport Bus service by adding a connection between Vienna Praterstern and Vienna Airport.
